This Kevin McChesney original is subtitled "Bolero". A bolero is a Spanish dance form in simple triple time, and like the famous "Bolero" of Ravel, this piece starts small and builds momentum until the dynamic and textural ending in measure 128. A malleted "drum line" pervades the piece, except for a contrasting, lyrical section in the middle.
