Ethereal mood, open textures, pulsating 7/8 meter and mixed major and minor tonality all contribute to original work written for the Raleigh Ringers. Handchimes add another dimension and seem to echo monk's voices in a quiet monastery from long ago. With a new age sound and an age old title this work explores the unique sounds of bells in all ranges.
