To Dwell in Unity - Dotted quarter-eighth rhythm dominates the melody and drives this original composition, which has an Indian feel about it. Extensive performance and rehearsal notes are provided by the composer, one of which is that the beginning is best performed with no meter! When structured tempo does set in it is marked "with flourish" and at a good clip (quarter = 156). Many special techniques are called for including the mysterious echo technique.

Tomorrow Shall Be My Dancing Day - This English carol, which dates from the 1600s, is a predecessor to "Lord of the Dance", as the lyrics are spoken from Jesus' viewpoint and describe aspects of His life as a dance.
